Not actually a part of Renaissance Fine Woodworking, Paul’s instrument shop occupies the basement of his home in Pullman, WA. He repairs and restores all types of stringed instruments there, and has been at it for 40 years(!). He is a published author (bow rehairing techniques, tuning systems and diagnostic techniques), a Guild of American Luthiers member (28 years), a certified CF Martin guitar warranty station, and a pretty good fiddler, too. He repairs all kinds of stringed instruments: violins, violas, cellos and basses; bow rehairs and repairs; and also all fretted instruments (acoustic and electric) including guitars, mandolins, banjos, bouzoukis, ouds, sitars, and tub basses. Well, maybe not sitars.
