Simple, With Purple

A Renaissance remodel in a modest Pullman home. Maple cabinets, full overlay doors with raised panels, arched doors on the upper cabs. A small breakfast table spans the gap between dishwasher and pantry. Paperstone countertops with an under mount sink, and a purple Marmoleum floor!

A study in maple and purple. A bold color choice that works.

Demolition complete! Now the fun begins

The kitchen was gutted and we opened the wall dividing the kitchen and dining room, and built an archway.

The view now extends from one end of the house to the other, through two arches and right out the front window. Note that the new arch mirrors the old one further down the house, with the same small kink at the top of the arch duplicated exactly.

An inviting kitchen in a sunny day, Good lighting and the light color of Maple makes the kitchen feel spacious. This kitchen is ideal for the owners, who share an Asian aesthetic – simple, uncluttered, and appealing.
